단국대학교, 국제학술대회 공동주최

단국대학교는 지난 9월 26일 국제학술대회를 개최하였다.

이번 학술대회는 "The Muslim World After the Arab Spring: Changes and Prospects for Islam in the 21th Century"를 주제로

한국외국어대학교 글로벌 캠퍼스 백년관에서 한국이슬람학회, 한국외대 중동연구소, 명지대 중동문제연구소와 공동으로 개최되었다.

한편 장세원 연구소장은 ' Islamism and the Arab Spring' session의 좌장을 맡아 열띤 발표와 토론을 이끌었다.

GCC국가연구소 엄익란 연구원은 "Nationalization of Labor Force Policy in UAE and Its Influence on Marriage and Divorce Pattern"을 주제로 연구발표를 하였다.

김정명, 남옥정 연구원 역시 각각 The Aga Khan Award for Architecture and the School in Contemporary Islam’, ‘Human Rights in the Islamic World’ 주제발표에 대한 토론에 참여하였다.

홍미정 공동연구원 역시 'Boko Haram and Its Political Use of Islam’ 에 대한 토론에 참가하였다.
